So, after spending a month down in the Dominican Republic with Aaron Hadlow and crew shooting some video after the Triple-S, we have hit the Ro-Sham Throw-Down slider project in Hood River. This place is a different world compared to the Caribbean, inland kiting on fresh water with stunning back drops.

The event has started for the last few days and there hasnt been much wind yet. Today is the main event though, so I will let you know how I get on! Check back soon, more videos and shots about to drop!

So, sorry for the lack of updates…the last few weeks have been full on and super busy. So right now I am in Fuerteventura with the North team, we have been shooting and filming freestyle alot but there hasn’t been much wind.

I am heading back to the UK after this to have some meeting and then I have one month planned in Indonesia to surf in G-land…I cant wait. Before then though I will be posting some new videos and there is a cool North Profile video coming soon from Gx cube productions! I will update this when it comes out…

So after the PKRA had finished I headed up to the North of Fuerte with Susi Mai, Sam Light, Chris Burke and fellow Animal team rider Jo Ciastula for the rail project the i have wanted to do for a while now. It was a bit of a mission to get it all together and built in a week, but we managed it and have had a few solid day of riding in the last week. Some great shots about to come out from the trip too, so keep your eyes peeled in the mags :)

Unfortunately i had a big stack and got 8 stitches in my elbow so i have been off the water for a few days..dohh. Here is a video i edited with my down time.

right, after the freestyle contest in the south of fuerte at the PKRA i got a 13th overall, so i was pretty annoyed. The gusty 40 knot wind made it super difficult to compete, but the kite loop second discipline made up for it and i got a 2nd podium Finnish. So i was pretty stoked, on the podium with Aaron and Kevin. Here is a podium shot.

Heading up to the North of the island now to start work on a slider project with Sam Light, Chris Burke, Susi and Jo Ciastula from Animal. Shots and an article will be coming out soon. keep it posted. t

So i have just come in after my last heat, unfortunately i lost to the current KPWT leader Peter Tyuskavich from Russia leaving me with a 13th in the world freestyle discipline. Not really what i had hoped for, but it was good fun just to ride with everyone again after a long off season away from contests. Here is a shot of some in heat action just 10mins ago :)

So i Just arrived in Fuerte, a few days before the PKRA contest. Spent the last few days at our house on the North of the island, kiting at some of the local spots. Toby Bromwich from Core Magazine and Sam light came out from the UK to stay and ride before the contest too. The comp starts tomorow so we ar going to move down south to get some practice in the gust conditions. Will keep posting throughout the event!

So for the last few days i have been hanging out back at home on the IOW with my mates, riding with Chris Burke and Sam Light. We hit the Cable park last week with the Toby form coreonlinemagazine.com and the world champ, Nick Davies. It is definitely a great way to ride when the wind is pretty crap and ready up for some rail hits…

Just booked my ticket to Fuerte next week for the PKRA world cup too, so will have some news from that! keep it posted!

After a few days back at home and recovering from the plane flu, it has been good. Blazing sunshine and lot of BBQ’s, but no wind at all. What better to do that wakeboard for some cross-training! Here is a shot from this morning, 7am, tow surfing at my local beach on a small 1-2 foot ground swell! Great no-wind fun!

i am currently out in fuerteventura bfore the world event starts, getting some training in before the comp. i have been shooting for a new magazine and riding alot of waves, some super heavy cotillo barrels!!

staying in our house near the north shore, been sailing every day so far…constant wind and 25degree heat…perfect

i have just spent a week in Hurgada, Egypt with NKB for the 2007 young blood kite camp. The week end well with over 40 young blood aplicants all competeing for the top spot.

i was officaly introduced to the North Kiteboarding International team and spent my week with mallory, renu and jamie coaching and rideing with the YB team.

testing the new 2008 vagas kites along with the whole range of boards!! looking good for next year!!!

i have just got back from the dominican republic PKRA world kiteboarding event, having claimed 13th place overall…

currently ranked 10th in the world for the years standings, i am still hoping to get inside the top 10 by the end of the year!
